Resurrection

First race of the year!! Merry Xmas. I did the Bungay Black dog Groggy Doggy on Boxing Day. Great fun getting muddy around a swampy Bungay common.  Back has been hurting over the last week but I got around anyway.  Averaged 8:34/m for the 5.33m route.  Ankle deep in mud for much of it.  Great fun. And I got my first medal of the year!!

Physio seems to be working. I can see light at the end of the tunnel.  Ran 20m total last week, 22m this week. Cycling as well. I’m fat and slow but starting to function again. Did Lotus last week. My first race in 18 months. Really slow but I felt really happy and relieved to be out there. Spinal injections this week which should help a bit more. Say it quietly but I think I’m going to be racing 2020!!
